Before you say the “I do”, a lot of preparations should be in place. Self-care is important all the time whether you’re single, engaged, or married. It’s the most important; however, before your wedding day arrives because it’s going to be a day that you’ll remember crystal clear, and you don’t to remember not feeling or looking well.
Here are the self-care steps that should become a daily routine before your wedding:
Mental Self-Care:
Your mental health should be your number one priority especially with stress being a common issue amongst brides. Planning a wedding can be too much work, so make sure to give your mind some relaxing time by doing some meditation exercises or by just taking a break!
Skin Care:
Start a skin care routine at least 6 months prior to your wedding to make sure your skin is getting the best out of the routine. Do not neglect your skin after the wedding; it should be a part of your lifestyle. Consult an expert before trying any new products because you don’t want to experiment on your skin and discovering products your skin doesn’t like.
Organization:
Organize what you have to do in advance. Book your appointments early, order your lingerie, bridal wear, wedding accessories, and make-up ahead of time. Think about your wedding photo shoot, your dress fitting sessions. Decide whose help you’ll be needing; choose people who you trust and feel confident asking to help you out.
Going Healthy:
Be aware of what’s going in your body; many brides-to-be tend to either stress-eat or skip meals. Make sure you’re getting enough calories every day and get into the habit of working out. You don’t want your dress to be a tight or loose on your wedding day.
